Show me your garage
Moving next month to our new house near Congleton, which has a nice 4 car driveway and a garage. The garage is about a Focus and a half length with power, lighting etc. It's not really wide, but enough to get in and out of the car and has cupboard and shelves.
Pretty chuffed really, because I've been renting the pub's garage for a while, but at least now I won't have to share it with the pub's bins!
So going to refurb the whole thing, show me yours for inspiration

Yes bigger and better, a pitched roof and more room for more of my toys, hopefully going to get a ramp in there.
I will add a blog once we have more to show, work only started today.

Driveway is huge, should be able to get four cars in the finished product, garage that is, have to be careful with the dimensions of the garage as its in a cul de sac with plenty of retired people with not a lot to do other than eye up my plans and moan lol.

I had one of those real Men's garages for years lol.
Here's mine.
Originally, we had 6 stables and a 12x24 haybarn. After me moaning about all the room she had, she " allowed " me some space, so i extended the hay barn 4 foot and put a dividing wall up, leaving me with 16.5' x 12 which is a good usuable space.
This is before the drive way was put down to the yard.

bloody hell gadget that garage, house and back garden looks awsome mate!!!! really nice gaff there.
On another note and off topic (sorry op) I have not posted the cage as I have it all wrapped up and its smaller than I thought so I am going to try and post it via my normal courier which costs Ł15 so if this works I shall send back the money you gave me for the pallet. Happy days

I don't have a Ford. And I don't have Gadget's spectacular views.
But I'm interested in garages in general. So I'll post pictures of mine as an example of what can be done with a low budget and a small-by-US-standards (20'x22') garage. I did all of the work myself, from the sliding-door cabinets up top to the ceramic tile down below. My shoulders still remember digging out the hole for the lift.
Pretty much everything in the place is second-hand, repurposed or home-made.
Benches fold down from the wall:
It looks nice cleaned up, but it's a working garage:
If you want to see a bench-by-bench tour of the place, it's got a website at:
http://www.12-gaugegarage.com
And it's got a video.
And there's about a hundred pages of documentation on it all at this link.
