Just been looking at cheap turbo barges... The above has a 2.3 turbo with 230 brake for a grand!

I bought a 9000 with a 2.3 aero engine, ebay gt30, bigger injectors, fuel pump blah blah blah with 360bhp for £1200. A standard aero is a bargain for what you get.

I was surprised to find gt isn't that bad round country roads! Was expecting it to be a straight line car but I have no trouble hustling along twisty roads. Ok it's not a Caterham but it's not a wallowy hippo either.

52 plate 9-5 Aero Estate (250hp) doesn't do too bad against a 1000 suzuki ridden by someone who can't ride lol, it needs a bigger intercooler, watch the IATs go up!

had a 2004 9-3 150bhp and is one of the best handleing cars ive owned, had the same engine in a vectra hence vectrac20tsri which was remapped to 210bhp and after 120,000 miles of abuse I sold it but one of the most reliable engines I've owned, saab gets alot of stick but I'd have another 9-3 tomorrow, whats the 2.3 go like in 9000
