im currently in the process of fitting an rs1800 engine in to a ka ive managed to get the gear box to line up with no issues what so ever.

the problem is the starter is mounted on the back of the engine on the ka and on the front of the rs1800 , anyway ive gone to fit the starter and theres part of the engine cast were the rs1800 gearbox bolts to in the way and cant get the starter in .

totally stumped me , and i aint got a clue what to do , was thinking about just cuting the cast to alloy it to fit is this wise ?? ora stupid idea??

any one thinking bout doing this conversion please please please dont believe all the hype of it being easy cuz its total bull sh1t

any help would be appreciated
