Default Temporary/Short Term Car Insurance

Ok, what companies do you guys use which cover cars for 24hrs??

I'm picking up a 2003 Impreza STi Type UK for a friend on Friday and while I'm covered by my own insurance to drive the car 3rd party, for my own peace of mind, I'd prefer to be covered fully comprehensively for the trip back... just in case.

I've tried dayinsure.com and tempcover.com, but neither are interested in doing cover on that exact car for me. So wondered who you/people you know have used to cover similar performance cars for a short term??

Cheers,
Grant

They'll probably all be the same, won't cover Evo, Scooby, Cosworth, Skyline or M3. My mates traders policy is like that. Bastards!

Add it to your current policy - depending on who you are with, you can add an additional car for up to 90 days.

I did this recently when I bought my S3 - asked to keep my Type R on the policy until I sold it and they just added the car to the policy. Cost me £0 for a month.

I'm with DirectLine but I'm sure other companies would do the same.
