Default Another Italian toy nearing completion

Well i bought it as a cat c write off for £1400 its the Aprillia RSV R 2001 model very trick indeed, ohlins alround suspension and steering damper, loads of carbon fibre with lovely OZ forged alluminium wheels, plastic fuel tank, polished frame and swingarm all as standard and a nice 1000cc V Twin Rotax engine. I have never ridden one, nor this lol i have had it a couple of months now and finally nearly ready for use. Aprillia parts are so expensive abit like the clio v6 hence just a cosmetic damage can get that catogory. The tank alone is 1k new!!!!and it needed one. It needed various parts but secondhand all amazingly cheap, no fork/ frame/ swingarm damage. Italy produce the finest

I came close to buying one as they are a mega amount of bike for the money, the ONLY problem with them is that the 916/996/998 exists ... And I bought the 996.

Lovelly bikes, best colour as well!

Undoubted, but then again it didn't win 10+ WSB, BSB, AMA etc titles like that old 916 did it? Tell me five riders that rode a Mille in WSB

Gorgeous bikes, you have the best of both worlds ...

Odd, you have great taste in bikes, and a bizzare taste in cars

finally you've got something decent

sold my 2000 rsv r last year to a guy in sweden. it was an awesome bike, but needed more power for trackdays. get a chip done by dr rossi and the sprockets changed as above, and then a renegade air box replacement to really have your eardrums sucked out of your head
