help!
Been out of touch with PCs for ages but is finally got to the point I need a new one, this ones done well for about 11 years now but its getting to slow on ebay/facebook lol
so I found this one on ebay, but dont want a complete dud...

seems ok, i would probably budget a little more and go for a more modern intel processor such as the core i3 model for about £50-70 more.
laptops vary in quality alot though so i would be tempted to pop into pc world or suchlike to find one that you like the look/feel of

yeah they do an I3 for about 330...
Is it worth the extra?
PC World stuff was all over priced junk as far as I could see... but was useful as I dont like the new individual key setup lots are going for, bit to 80s spectrum for me!

Have a look for the Acer aspire one.
We bought one just before Christmas, vary good net book, lots of USB ports, 250g hard drive and a 2g processor.
We paid just over 300 for it, three weeks later my old man bought one from eBay, full 3 year warranty for 220 .
