Fucking raging as the windscreen is original and has the chassis number etched into it and all.
Yeah 2 new wipers arms i need to get tomorrow.
Insurance will cover it minus the Ł60 excess tho its still a day off work sitting about waiting on them to fix it if they do get the screen tomorrow

id suspect that was someone you know, usaly the case i could be mistaken but it looks like they used a bat or simlar on the screen so they may have come prepared

Part of the Furniture
my brother heard a smash early hours yesterday, looked out the window saw three people walking off.
he runs downstairs and into the garden to find they had threw a broken slab through his pass door window and it smashed the dash.
he looks up the road and sees the same three kids putting another broken bit of slab through
another car.
he goes and confronts them, theyre about 17 and pissed up
whilst my brother is trying to stop them leaving, police pull up as another neighbour heard the first window go through and called them.
fair play to the police they were there in less than five mins and they arrested the kids took statements and left.
my brother got a text off the copper involved in the case and he said they all admit being there but deny throwing the bricks and refuse to name the one who threw it.
all three are using the same defence.
obviously my brother saw them throw the second brick but couldnt identify him as it was three kids in dark clothes in the dark 30 yards away.
the police are not sure wether the cps will continue with it but he,ll let us know in due course

In sensible countries theyd charge all 3 of them just for being part of it.
But not here.... no, each is treated individually and as there is no evidence to prove "beyond a reasonable doubt" that a certain kid did it, they wont be able to charge let alone get a conviction.
Its one of the reasons for example that the police are so hot in chases to go after the driver, as if they dont catch him, even if they round them up later on, they will all deny driving and get off scott free with a lesser offence if anything.

Can those 3 not be charged by association, like they do for people involved in a gang attack, for instance, when they will not give up the guilty person?

The law is a total farce nowadays and i really sympathise with you mate.
A few years ago my missus was driving through a traffic light controlled junction that also had pedestrian crossings in it and as we passed through some twat smashed her door mirror off with a can of beer. We pulled up and got out and luckily the car following was a copper just on his way to work to start his shift and he saw everything so we had a very reliable witness. Anyway the cock starts mouthing off at the copper who says he has dealt with him before so a police van is called and he gets nicked and we trot off to the station to make a statement. It ends up going to court and the on the morning of the court case the police woman handling it gives my missus 2 choices:
1) She can let the court deal with it and he will get found guilty but will claim to be broke and on benefits and will end up having to pay something like Ł1 a week repayment to cover the damages which he will stop paying after a couple of weeks.
2) She can drop the case and he will pay her in full out of court.
She chose the second option as she didn't want to be out of pocket and when he paid he pulled out a big wad of notes so obviously he wasn't as broke as he was going to claim. Basically he got away with no punishment other than paying for the damage he had caused. IMO he should have had the money taken straight from his benefits even if it meant he had fuck all to live on for a couple of weeks and should also have been fined more on top, again to be deducted straight from his benefits (hopefully the shit stain would have then starved and done society a favour).

Of all things to take lol.
There aren't many things that boil my piss as much as pikeys in general, even just seeing them annoys me. But this is on another level, careless, heartless, more than likely jobless, inconsiderate little fucktards with nothing better to do with their pathetic excuse of a life than destroy other people's that have actually worked hard for what they own instead of scrounging off the country, like some seedy little brainless mongs that can't tell their right from their left. They arent braindead. sadly there are some moderately intelligent people these days with the same attitudes and behaviours.
