a bottom end rebuild new crank bearings, crank regrind etc....
thats if its seized by lack of oil pressure, you havnt given us any background why you are even trying to turn it by hand
did it break down on you?
has it been in storage?
are you looking at buying it etc...

What's the history behind this? Have you got an engine that's sat for some time or have you done some work on it recently that might have caused it to jam up, like the wrong length bolt somewhere that now fouls?
If it's just been sitting, stick some oil down the bores and leave it to penetrate overnight, then stick it in gear and rock it back and forth.

water hasnt frozen has it?
it may have slightly seized the rings to the bore, try gently rocking the car back and forth in 5th gear and see if that helps.
****Edit****Just seen the above post, beet me to it lol

Cut the belt or slacken it right off to slip it off the bottom pulley where it's driven from (their only a few quid new) and then it should be fine.
If it's sat there all that time doing nothing there's a good chance that nothing majors gone wrong.
I suppose the water pump could of seized/frozen as well as I'm not sure if they have a shear pin like Vauxhalls of the 90's did.
Not to treat you like an idiot but it is out of gear as well is it?
Just saying as i once went out to my impreza after a long layup and had the opposite with the car starting but not engaging gears,I drove it round on just the syncro's until the clutch basically sprung back off and started working, wonder whether yours has done the opposite?
Maybe worth getting the mrs to push the clutch in while you try it again if the belt cut doesn't work.
I remember that being a pretty stunning car as well with a fresh paintjob.I'm sure it'll be an easy fix.
