I think its the strut bracket not the hose that is being held by the jubilee clip "repair"

I really do want to know what other testers decisions would be on this as even when on a refresher course the whole room will have varying answers on most things - yet most if not all will be correct

From an mot point of view, for me that's acceptable
From a general standard point of view, it needs sorting so change the shocker (you wouldn't be happy if this was your 2010 mercedes this was done to)

Interesting that HKS even make a hose fixing out of a jubilee clip for their front struts !

Some of the people who drive around here are happy to fit 2nd hand discs and pads from the scrap yard so a jubilee clip is a luxury to them !

Sorry guys I'm not trying to cause any problems this is a genuine question as my mk1 goes in for it's mot next week and iv just remembered about this repair, I will be putting a new one on it but for now it will have to do as iv blew my budget on other necessities such as 4 cibie super oscars, etc lol, anyway to answer some questions the clip only holds the bracket on it doesn't touch anything else the hose is clear of the strut and the clip and the hose is new thanks again for the help guys.
