I've been offered a 03'53 Rs with full history 100k 3 pre keepers , car books at 5k is it worth that money,I need to make them a offer, only thing wrong is drivers seat could do with a re trim .

I've just phoned them back and bid them 5k for it , they said I'm somewhere near let me no in next few days .

 

just sold one for Ł5300 and that was 110,000 miles full airtec intercooler /bluefin/ exhaust etc 280hp

 

1 sold on the RSOC for Ł5000. 1 owner, 128k with full history in very tidy and rust free condition.

ye mate its really nice. couple wee marks here and there as expected but overall its really tidy. inside and underneath are really clean. i'm very happy with it.

It was a bargain for anyone close - I spoke to the guy and was well up for it but when I worked it out where he lived was 5hrs + on the train from Brum and then a taxi ride or a pick up from the station and it needed a few things sorting... But yeh a bargain.

100k miler Ł6k tops in my opinion and that seems to be what they go up for and sell for.

The problem with the FRS since I've been looking is people still have them when they paid Ł10k+ and thought they wouldn't drop much due to the RS badge.

I've been offered a 50k car for Ł6,800..... lots of dreamers out there price wise.

 

i agree, i picked my car up for just under 9k 4 years ago as it had 90k on it (only 1 owner), at the time most were going for Ł12-13k for a nice one.

now mine has done 110k i reckon its worth about Ł6.k (has a few nice mods)

there are people out that still expect almost Ł10k for a 40-50k mile car and they will never get it.

the people that want to buy them want them cheap, the sellers think they are worth more and they end up meeting in the middle.

a cracking car and i think values will rise in 5-10 years for really nice ones. but they just arent worth that much at the moment.

 

still a stunning looking car and turns heads everyday. alot of car for the ŁŁŁ at 5k
