long studded block,
cosworth pistons with 136mm rods,
polished and knife edge crank
big winged sump
neil roper 500bhp+ head with piper double valve springs
mad inlet cam, std ex cam
rs 500 inlet with 4 rc 1000s
tt t38
autronic sm2 with cdi 500r
running 2 bar of boost

it needs a better intercooler then more boost,its genuine 500 one atm,
but it ll have to wait til funds allow

Great result! Is the original 500 cooler holding it back then? Iv got one fitted too mine as thought they should run 500+ no probs as they were on the touring cars?

No thats the torque figure, it has 2 scales. Its about 230hp @ 4k

i guess so lee,
but by how much i m not sure , maybe not alot left in the car anyway,
i know rod ran a 500 cooler with alot off power but im near sure he also had water injection which helps,
maybe the touring cars had as well,not sure to be honest
