Default Fiesta zetec s turbo engine mount

Thinking of doing a fiesta zetec s turbo (mk5)
But wouldn't use the zetec se engine.... What engine mount would you use if you wanted to fit zetec e?? Would an rs1800 one work?? Is the mount on the turret the same??
Cheers for your help

dnt worry mate, everyone gets things wrong time to time, i been thinking about this latley too as i really like the mk5 zs, just the engine mounting im confused with, surely it would be the zetec mk3 fitted to the mk5 shell? but also got to worry about what to do with the power steering, rad, intercooler as behind the bumper the mk5 is nothing like a mk3, tried looking at other build thread including one above but can seem to find much info on way things are fitted.

they are great little cars, this is my 2nd one now altho this is a project not a daily. yes its a zetec like the mk3 had fitted into the mk5. im looking for a mk3 fiesta to cut the inner wing mount off at my scrappy or i have also considered a modified cvh mount on a custom welded inner wing mount.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-SIERR...6#ht_986wt_952

this is the kind of rad im looking at as i wont be using the lower rad hanger, ill weld mounts for this.
im not worried about power steering so manual rack or also some people keep but pack with grease the power rack for a quicker lock to lock.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UNIVERSAL-...#ht_500wt_1202

this is the style of intercooler im looking into so sit in the bumper under the number plate as there is a ideal space for it.

hope thats been more helpful than my other shite i started off with lol

Zs box won't fit. Bell housing is diff and starter will hit exhaust Mani.

Mk4 or 5 derv bell housing is what you need, puma box with this bell housing is best set up.

Mk3.5 Cvh inner wing mount is closest match to retro fit.

You can also use a mk6 escort long shaft to ditch the equal length shaft set up

Don't forget to upgrade the fuel pump. And need to go to mk4 fiesta dash clocks to get running on a frst loom ( if you want the rev counter and water temp to work

Yeh I've been there done that with the boxes. I'm running a 1.3 endura casing from mk4 with puma internals. Although I'm now supercharged not turbod so could probe get away with either

It's a mk4....but engine bay is the same. I've got a 2.0 blacktop zetec with a supercharger.

I found the blacktop to be a more stable engine in there due to the positioning of the os engine mount.

As above. I'd be interested. Got a puma powered Zs and fancy chucking a 2.0 black top in. Been looking at the pin outs on a Zs and focus ecu and they look v similar. Might be able to use standard loom

Almost 100% sure zetec se have slightly different bell housing patterns. Either way they don't fit due to starter motor position

It's the gear box which dictates the starter position not the engine
