Wideband Lambda Gauges

Wideband Lambda Gauges
As stupid as this sounds, when driving your car, do you actually know what figures you should be looking for whilst the engine is under different loads?
Please discuss, as im sure alot of people have a wideband gauge but probably dont have a clue what figures are safe and what is bordering on dangerous, myself included

Yup
In truth though, if your car is fast enough, you'll be too busy watching where you're going. As such, a setup with an alarm is far more useful.
As long as you can set conditions for the alarm such as "If throttle angle exceeds 80% then AFR must be richer than 12.0:1" in the event that you run leaner than that under those conditions then the alarm activates.
I've set my AIM dash up like that so that all the alarms are conditional, that way if I see a red light, I know i've got a problem. It's a pet hate of mine when people have alarms that go off under false conditions, it gets you into a habit of ignoring them!
