Default Fitting a 2wd cossie brake pump onto a 4x4

Hi all,

I've got a clearance issue between my exhaust manifold and the brake pump on my saph (which used to be a 4x4 but now converted to 2wd).

I have to run a spacer between the top and bottom parts of the manifold due to the size of the turbo compressor housing which makes the manifold sit very close to my brake pump which I'm not too happy with.

The 2wd pump has the motor on the other side meaning that it's closer to the inner wing and therefore further away from the manifold which is a bit more like it.

My question is can the 2wd unit be fitted to my car and be used with the 4x4 ecu and distribution block?

The only wiring difference I can see is with the main plug on the motor but that's easily fixed!

Cheers all!

why not just makea heatsheild up, tbh the 2wd pump is a worse design than the 4wd as it moves the bottle over the turbo and boils the fluid, sure the pipe layouts are different aswell

I did try both on my old track car can't comment on the pipes as i had braided hoses, i eventually settled for the 2wd although the reservoir was closer to the manifold i found it was easier to insulate that and get the pump further away.
