focus running problem
Ignition Run / ACC circuit failure
So as I recall, I disconnected my battery for a few hours and reconnected it and the code had erased. But I had a SnapOn diagnostics unit that I could get rid of DTC codes too just in case.

Check your fuse box, can't recall which number (sorry, been a while since I played with a Focus RS). But you may have popped a fuse if you've done anything electrical, even hit an earth with a live etc.
Yeah still runs the lambda in downpipe mate, i also whipped the plugs out earlier to have a look and 1 2 3 are all black with a nice white tip but number 4 is just pure black? Dunno if summet a miss there.
Borrow one off someone, but then again wouldn't give you the boost issue. No air leaks, specifically around the inlet side i.e. hair line splits which commonly occur?
As for the plugs, have you got a spare set to just pop in and give a go? Are they gapped correctly?

Would be worth it, but that fault code is electrical, so could be a small number of things. But change lambda if cheap enough, check the interior fuses and finally get over to Mark Shead and ask him to finish off what he started. If it was fine before he mapped it, then maybe something was missed? Easily done.
With these cars, they're normally the most reliable on the road from my experience and the problems that occur always give you a headache but turn out to be easy fixes. That is, unless the previous owners were donuts who treated the cars poorly.

Not being funny, but that sounds like an old MK2 Escort pinto bodge job fix
These newer cars, especially the Focus RS shouldn't be that tempremental, especially where boost is concerned. Its gotta be something along the lines of a sensor, injectors, plugs, regulator etc. More of a component as apposed to low fuel because unlike an alloy fuel race tank with just a foam insert and a 044 pump, the RS tank isn't a homemade type of thing

Was an unlikely option, but an option nonetheleast. You need to get into a garage mate, if you've gone through it with a fine tooth comb then that's the sensible option, go back and finish the map properly

For what its worth - the code reading via the dash is of very little use at the best of times. The codes shown on there are rarely direct fault codes from the engine ECU. Most of them are from the GEM module/dash setup.Dicko - if you want to send some screenshots of the live data from the Autronic over to me i'll happily take a look at them and see if I can see anything out of the ordinary. It is possible that a sensor is playing up as has been mentioned. I'd quickly check the pipe connection to the MAP sensor too for what its worth!
