Hi
Ive bought a 2 Ltr zetec to go into my s2 but hAve been offered a mk1 focus Rs duratec engine.
Is it and different to fit than a zetec ?

Any info appreciated guys

Basically need to l know if it's as straight forward as a zetec conversion is
Thanks

You will need a 1.8 flywheel if you want to fit a bc or ib5 box. Fitting a Mtx box at the same time would be best

Cheers guys
Am I right in thinking this woud be better than building a zetec ?
Engine I've been offered is smoking a bit and guy reckOns it's rings but bottom end has been rebuilt before.
Are they prone to ring wear ?
Worried it may require a rebore then oversize pistons etc then I'm into big money again

As above, it's just a zetec block so no problems with getting it in there. No idea why Ford put a duratec badge on it!
