Default blue smoke

My mate has a sapph cos 4x4. he is getting blue smoke from exhaust and it only happens when he's slowing down and going down the gears. What the hell is going on? anyone?

if it smokes then that tends to mean its fast lol

it could be

turbo
guides
stem seals
rings
piston problem

as said keep useing it and keep an eye on the oil level

just look at it as a continuous oil change

Probably oil seals in the turbo.

If not, buy something newer

as said turbo oil seals. If it's anything like when mine let go, it'll sound like a siren for a while too

What oils in the car? My old sapp smocked on overrun and was down to me using wrong oil, put millers 10.50 weight in it and she ran great with no smoke

I would say valve guides (weak point), if not stem seals.

Tabetha always reccomended replacing with Coshibo (Thats the wrong spelling) but it's a better type of guide material.
