Has anybody ever been to this at the NEC?

My sister has just asked if I would like to go for my birthday but dont really know what its about and what to expect.

i went to MPH03, 04, 05 and the first one they called top gear live which was awesome (MPH was the same thing just they replaced tiff needell with james may) but i went to Earls court... got to meet jenson button aswell - he was on the B.A.R Honda stand LOL

Went to the earls ourt one a few years ago and, other than the horrendous prices (Ł70 for the basics) it was well worth the money for the live event

There's a motor show thing as well which is your normal static car display and trade stands and stuff which is good

Just make sure she pays for the lube show as well as the normal motorshow if that's what you've got in mind as they were 2 separate events when we went. Plus there are bronze silver and gold passes as well, but fuck paying Ł200 for one of them just to get into the first class suite

when we went we had to pay to get intot he main show for looking at cars, and then pay extra to be let into the top gear 1 hour special show thing, and even more if we wanted to go upstairs to the vip lounge, but you did get free champagne and a nice little strap to put around your neck to dangle your gold pass from

I went to MPH 05, 06 and 09. Since the first time it's almost tripled in price as far as I remember, and there are less cars on display and more trade stands. It's worth going once though, even if it's just for the show which is fantastic. At MPH 09 I you got free admission to the classic car show with your tickets, which is about 10 times bigger than MPH. Don't know if they still do that though
