a t38 car will maybe still have a bit now up and go compared to a t4 car,
but once the t4 gets to 80-90mph it ll really start to work,
i know i could nt work with my mates t34 car til after 90mph or so, i m on a tt t38,
but that was the last engine, should be a different story now

Even at 80-90 with our old specs mine just used to pull away
That 4i is a very quick well specced car....just don't tell the Lanky twat that owns it though as his head is to big already lol

Thanks Steve
You should have at least 40bhp than mine after they are both set up again.
Mine might still give you a hard time until silly silly speeds lol
I've never even looked into the rs500 block! Im quite narrow minded in the info i take in. Usually its 205 block as that relates to me. Same with escos i know the big turbo and little turbo all have diffdrent bits but what they are apart from etc i got no idea
So whats diff between roller bearing and journal bearing??
And on that note Luke who ever you choose to map your car ask them what is required and not on here - no disrespect to anyone as their are many different high spec cars all with different spec's so you could take advice here and roll up at the mappers and for them to say it' all wrong.
For example Steve's 4i has every top bolt on part going and is crying out for his 200 bottom end to work with the turbo where as you may just have a standard head & engine which is useless on a TT38 even a UT T38 (cr spec) you can't just put a turbo on and expect it to work.
It wants to be done before April as we are both booked in for a RR Day with the Kent RSOC
Steve
I'm not going to rushing my build just because its booked for a RR, it will take as long as funds allow really, and lets face it a 500 bhp build don't come cheap as this time its being done right. And I would like to think that my T4 flat out will make more than 510 bhp on its new spec engine.

Steve 4 or 8 injector? what does Tony recommend on your spec as old skool spec is proven
thats right brammer, my last engine had a standard head and bd 10s, with the tt t38, it made 420 bhp,
i did go ok , but now i ve a proper ported head , cams ,pistons etc etc
i m still running in atm but already the difference is unreal, i gave it a bit off a blast in 5th gear the other night and tbh i scared the shit outa me and that was on low boost and still needing mapped
Cores are made in the UK - design is from other coolers that have been used for years on both Jap and Scandinavian cars, Pete and Mark think they own the design but they don't they just brought it to the UK market and unlucky for Pete he'll sell the same amount this year that AS sell on the launch day
Until we see any test results then all the slating about cheap Chinese cores is just bollox imo. Tbh on the road my 70mm cooler has always kept things under control and recovered quick time, it will be getting the larger pipes fitted which Steve did on his for the back to back test with the spec R cooler.

they will be the cheapest chinese cores steve believe me and tbh even a old pace cooler or a forge motorsport rs500 type will cope with road cars as there never ragged or held flat enough to make a difference as the average 2 min blast down a country road or a rolling road isnt a realistic test ! but a 20 min track race will be a better test with a car above 500bhp so temps will get high to see how it goes
it would be if it was factual lol !! the only tests done so far are on mickey mouse dyno runs so they will recover easily like i say get some heat around them to so how they work id also like to see a pressure measurement done to see what the difference is to
