I got quoted Ł500 by Cr turbos to convert my t34.63, he said .63 is a must though .
Or if one for sale for Ł900 go for that or spend a few hundred more and get a gt30

The t38 has mixed views by people , it's like marmite "love it or hate it "

When I spoke to mark shead he said t34 up to 380bhp or gt30 above and wouldn't bother with a t38 . But SCS really rate them .
Pick a tuner and stick with what they say

Two different turbo's - i've had a Harvey one and it was good but i wouldn't spend the money on one now i would put the extra in and stick either GT3071 or GTX3071 depending on how much money your mate has. As Mark advised beyond a T34 it's a GT series turbo

Harvey one is a bored out T34

The TT one is a custom built one.

I don't find mine has any more lag than my old T34.55

You are welcome to come out for a drive when i have had the map checked.

Nothing wrong with the Harvey T38,put on a well specced engine it's awesome. Plus they're gentle on 4x4 boxes.

I found with mine that the engine has to be spec'd for this turbo and not an item you can just throw on any engine - Most T38 car's where Harvey spec so part of a complete setup i still think on their own they aren't ideal and you actually wasting money buying one over a GT

i toyed with the idea of getting a gt turbo until i spoke to mcm turbos here in n ireland, they said id be mad to change to one,and just to stick with what i have as they are a far hardier unit,
i just got them to freshen up my tt one
and no the gt s cant be rebuild

U mentioned your a point to point type of guy im more of a motorway monster pmsl, hense why i liked the sound of a t4. A t38 seems a good comprimise between the two. I think i need a tt t38. Do turbo technics speak have 360roller bearers??
