Default Would you be put off at 114000 miles on fiesta 1.6 tdci engine? opinions on this car

Have seen this for sale in bedford and seems very well priced, owned from new, service history up to 65k then own oil filter changes after that,

Would you be put off at 114000 miles on these engines? seems like a really good car and spec with it being the 1.6 tdci, plus it's still £30 a year tax and cheap insurance

opinions please

The 1.6 "Ford" diesel in these cars is actually a PSA french number so should do mega miles without much issue.

My O/H has one of them ZS on a 54 plate and it's a cracking little car

Well I am going to see the car tomorrow night and have already agreed a price of £2700 as they won't take a penny less, so for that money as long as it looks/sounds and drives ok il buy it and take it home there and then

Will let you know how I get on

Thanks for the advice

i wouldnt normally be put off by mileage on diesel engines, but when i was looking at these they seems to be a few suffering injector or turbo probs,

i had an 04 mondeo tdci with 117k on the clock and was a great car, id love a van mk6 fez but the tax is unreal compared to the car

Not bad price imo, mileage is not too bad we have had a few of these fiestas in and they are good cars can handle the mileage, but you rather save the pennies and get a facelift

Seems like a pretty genuine advert to be honest. Usually you can tell if people are trying to hide stuff straight away and this guy seems legit to me. That's not a lot for a TDCi engine but you'd do well to think about how many miles you're likely to do in it between now and selling it and work out if you'll get decent money back on it. 114,000 wouldn't put me off but 134,000 seems a lot more.
