Default need help ASAP not a ford Question :-(

aliright everyone. i'm posting this on behalf of my cousin. he has bought a diatsu (sp) charade gtti. its a 1.0l turbo and weighs the same as a heinz bean tin
he has one problem stoping him getting it on the road. ECU is well fucked and he needs another one. he reckons he has looked all over for a replacment and the cheapest he can find is 1500 quid for an ECU that will take it up to 155BHP. but the soft coont wont do that(due to cost really)

i know this aint a ford question but this is a rare car and he really wants it on the road. im sure many have had a similar problems where finding that 1 missing link proves very hard.

if anyone knows where he can get one or point him in the right direction it would be fantastic.

cheers

he made me feel sorry for him last night as he aint got much cash to blow on a car but he does well with what he has. i was thinking that he would have looked quite hard for an ECU at least in the obviouse places first.

that has pissed me of coz it means hes just being a lasy tw@t not being hard done to.

cheers anyway guys.
