Lads......i just reformatted my pc, spec is:
Athlon XP2000 (1.66ghz?)
256mb DDR PC2700
60gb HDD
Radeon 7000 Graphics Card (64mb ram)
Anyway, it aint that old, and shouldent be that bad to be honest,m i nkow its nothing by todays stanbdards....
But...Its soooooo slow, I have just reformatted, theres nothing on it, the graphics card drivers are the latest from ATIs site.....
But, when I try to load something, it aint even a game i get the error "OpenGL benchmark = 30, a pentium 300 with accelerated graphics should score 300"
Something is majorly wrong and I dont know what, its doing ym head in, soooo slow![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
PS. No replies saying "dont be tight, buy a new pc, or new gfx card", the one i got should be working a lot better than this

I don't know mate ![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
I know I just had to reformat and reinstall, and I lost all my audio and graffix drivers too (but I'm on win98SE and have onboard graffix and sound as my PC is oooooooooold
)
I eventually with some help from peeps on here found and installed new VGA drivers and chipset audio drivers so all sorted now (except my USB plug in card reader/writer won't show up even theo I installe dthe software for it
)
So just keep bumping till someone who knows what the problem is reads it pal

mark, omega is just a hacked version of the standard stuff, i thought it migt help. turns out it was just the mobo stuff (VIA4in1) not being installed and the AGP port being knocked back to legacy.
installed via drivers n speeds QuADRUOPLED
then installed omega drivers and speeds increased about 10% ontop
