If you've got a Bosch pump (like some Trannys) then yes. But if it's a Lucas pump then no, it might run for a while but you'd be on borrowed time.

I think the Transits with a Bosch pump can.
As far as I'm aware you cannot get a 1.8 Lynx engine with a Bosch pump. Would be good if you could

Ive done it with a few fords. escort van. Mondeo td. anything thats not commorrail really will be ok. if its fresh veg oil just put it straight in. Obviously used will require filtering. probably run 50 5o in winter for ease of startup. unless your car had a pre heated diesel filter like my old cavalier td had

even if it has a lucas pump it will run it - you just have to mix some diesel in with it too - ran it on my mondeo turd for ages

yeah hes got a bosch pump which was changed from lucas he had to wear it in at first 50/50 then so on now just go's to asda or tesco n fills up up with veg cooking oil was just wondering what ford engines it can be done with for the long distance ford sierra project ive got

i wouldnt bother with 100% veg mate - escpecially with winter coming up in a few months

Ave got a transit tdci that runs on it no bother at all but my mates tddi tranny wount but a don't know why. A also hav a escort that runs on it perfect and a 07-plate focus with the 1.8 tdci lump in it that runs super as it's got a prehearter
