Ok so im looking at getting my foot on the property ladder (morgage been aproved ) and bassicly a house needs plenty of land to build a garage as its a MASSIVE thing for me. Im after a big garage so i can work on my car. How much would it cost to build one if i was to do all the work?

Mark who uses this forum built a garage behind his house and its the best i have seen and i would love the same at some point, i think he said it cost approx 16k but if you look its a seriously large garage

my friend had a new double garage built by a local guy (north london) it was a double garage built on the site of his old single, and that included a new concrete base, and a pit. cost him 10k all in once he had bought the roller door and rear doors and windows.

its about 25x20 foot

materials probably 5-6k depending on size. Probally cheaper if you use blocks rather than bricks and have a flat roof(with a ten degree angle max) you would be so proud if u done the work yourself especially if the garage means a lot to u like u said
