Default Morrisons Super Unleaded

who supplys morrisons with petrol?

i normally pay 89.9p for BP Ultimate which i don't even think is all that good (compared to Optimax) and its fucking expensive.

i went into Morrisons today and they do SUL for 79.9. my car is running just as well with it in and not noticed any DET.

just wondering who supplys them, and what octane rating it is?

all fuel is supplied by shell up here in chester, its all basically the same, except for a few different additives, and is loaded through the same gantries, so when i load up in shell for lets say, esso super, the computer recognises my swipe card, and uses the esso additives, which are stored in tanks, close to the gantries. hope that helps

Optimax isn't an option for me as my local place has turned to a Texaco and the nearest Shell garage would cost me 1/4 of a tank to get to

is super unleaded generally less octane than BP Ultimate at 97ron?

the BP stuff is a stupid price. Morrisons SUL is only a few pence more than normal unleaded.

i'm under the impression that a few of the big oil companys supply all the supermarkets. who sorts out morrisons?

I thought all supermarket fuels used cheap Eastern block fuel

I was lead to beleive that these fuels weren't of a very good quality

Supermarkets use all fuels...

What I mean by that is they will shop around for the best deals and then purchace,

so you can get good and bad fuel....beware

Anyone see that fella in the Sun during the week who is banned from all his area's service stations as he cuts the lines and drinks the unleaded?

Try asking him which is the best one
