Default How do I refurb my Cossie rocker cover????

Seen this done about 50 times on here over the years and always wandered how exactly you guys do it, although I'm sure it's very easy, I don't want to pay someone £100 for a piss easy job.
Ideally black or crackle finish is what I would be going for if that makes the slighest bit of difference.

I take mine to the powdercoaters=£20, then get my m8 to skim the top face to bring it back to ali with a nice spun finish job done.

Simple really - if you have the facilities i did my at the bodyshop in the oven but can be done at home in the house oven

Shot blast the cover, heat metal, Etch prime, spray with wrinkle paint, heat over night - had it machined by Dave and......wollahh.........

Can be done easier if you want a quick job, powdercoaters will strip it and coat - then any good machine shop would take the top off you could get one done for £50

Which wrinkle paint did you use? did you use the same paint on the block i bought off you? trying to find the paint to give it another coat.
