went to the park with the kids this morning

then went to tesco to fill up

on the way back home i got properly dangerously overtaken by some numpty in a range rover round a blind bend (anyone who knows where yeading tesco is will know the score) who virtually ran me off the road

fuck that for a game of soldiers so i called 999

and as i was talking on the phone, the range has overtaken another car on a zebra crossing

and then another car at the next set of lights

so i'm explaining this to plod on the phone and the next thing i know, blue lights behind me chasing said range down the road (he was well gone as it was about a mile from when i called it in)

anywho, i got a call about 10 minutes later asking for a description of the vehicle and they said they'd get in touch should they need me to give a statement about the drivers dangerous driving

so i'm going to believe that they caught said scrote driving like a twat and have enough evidence to not need mine

i was in the van, the vans got handsfree before anyone complains

anyone else got any good news storys featuring the old bill today?

Suprised they did anything to be honest. I rang 999 once because a girl id been with, her brother and about 4 of his mates decided to ambush me in a supermarket, outnumbered i got in my car and got off, ringing the police as i was being chased by 3 cars full of tooled up idiots down a motorway, they asked me for post numbers so they could get my location, after 20 minutes a traffic patrol officer thing drove past us and then the lads in question i guess got spooked and backed off, they said the police would meet me at the next services where i was to stop, but they never turned up then rang back saying there was nothing they could do...

few years back my misses mates fiesta got stolen. She called me after calling the plod and i went to find it.

Drove straight to the local shopping centre where all the scum hung out and there is the car with about 40 teenagers all over it. I called 999 gave them the details of where it was and parked up watching this car get ragged about the car park.

An hour later they called back to ask where it was again, at this stage I pointed out the on the other side of the cresent was a police station lol!

The next day they called me back to say the car was found, they had decided to not attend and to recover the car the next when it had been finished with and dump. WTF!

I bet if i had gone in heavy handed and given a few of those teenagers a kicking for taking it they would have had a dozen riot vans out - we have a tax payer people, this one will be an easy prosecution lets roll out!!

i may have mentioned that it looked like a drug dealer running as there were 2 cars chasing it, but these 2 cars did normal overtaking at safe speeds and locations

I seriously think that a lot of it is down to resources, and rsholes phoning 999 because their kid wouldn't eat his tea, being just one of the stupid 999 calls they get.
I support the plod all the time, and report anything I know/see etc but reactions vary enormously, not hard to see why though.
Norfolk has 832,000 people(last years count), but in november last year for a 3 day period the police had 3, yes THREE police persons to cover the whole county, expect they burglars were busy those days!!

I think these should be more police but the goverment have cut expenses so there is less police staff.

I called 999 when my car was stolen, even gave them the name of the man seen driving it, i called them on friday and they come and see me monday morning by which time my car is stripped, so can't say i have alot of time for the police.

The reason they did fuck is cause it was a real crime, which they don't seem to be interested in.

I still think you should of petrol bombed the pikey camp. Hell if i saw my car on a pikey camp, id petrol bomb the car just to stop them keeping it.
