Get a reversed socket from your local motor factors. Not sure what their called but their a socket that has teeth that bite into the nut as you unscrew it. A mate of mine had one when I got stock a few years back.

machine mart do them of the shelf, they cost about 12quid, and there just called locking wheel nut threads i think. But if u havent got a vice the chances are you'l never get it back of to reuse so be prepared to buy 2 sets if u need more than one wheel nut done

Pop down to Halfords and get one of their locking when nut removal sockets. It's got a deep reverse thread, and they're easy to use. Have done it on a couple of occasions. Way easier than welding stuff on, or clobbering the shit out of it!

it'll come out with the right tools, time and patience bud, i take it there is space around the nut to get a bolt extractor on, or is it tight in the hole?

The halfords removal tools didnt fit on my locking wheel nuts.

Are they genuine ford? Have you still got the serial number on the piece of paper in the back with the key? I ordered a new one with this number, took about 4 weeks to get here though!
