For people buying Cosworth parts by mail order I will list recomended places to buy here: Larkspeed performance and Graham Goode Motors.
And NOT recomended places here: PJ Motorsport and Zoo Motorsport.

Guy is a total helmet...Panza I think he was called??? he had a small problem with a brake kit that Zoo offered to fix for him free of charge. In fact they pretty much offered him the world BUT the guy just wouldn't have any of it. He did a huge post on Turbosport slagging Zoo... but ended up looking a COCK as everyone agreed that Zoo had done everything they could to help him and he threw a sulk and left the site. ![Rolling Eyes](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
I heard that PJ are one of the slickest and cheapest and most professional Mail order companies around... God knows how they upset him. Maybe they sent him something that arrived too early?

Some of it is rather strange - what rear torsen-type diff has to do with handbrake turns?

He also talks absolute rubbish on there.........
e.g.
I came to think of it when I studied the workshop manual that the single piston (pot) setup used on the Escort Cosworth do have an unstable nature in itself: Since there are only one point of pressure on the pad it could possibly rock back and forth on the piston as the brakepedal is pressed and released.

Actually there is some truth in it - pads really ted to move in my Escos calipers :-( had to use special glue to glue them not to vibrate.

My point was that I don't believe there's any flex in the caliper.

I don't think there is too. I think what he ment is that pad has some possibility of side-to-side movement. But I never experienced that as a problem. And brakes are one of the things that work top quality on factory Escos in my opinion.

Do your best to help someone & they blow it up in your face.
Luckily I get a rare few like that, but I can safely say that most are cool
