Hi all
Have been waiting patiently for my local Ford dealer to get me in a replacement locking wheel nut key after mine was damaged. 2 weeks on and it still hasn't arrived and the parts guy has no idea of when it will be here as it is coming from Germany apparantely.
Is there anywhere else that I can get one from in this country? Starting to get a bit impatient as the car is off the road until I can get it sorted. Would rather not whack the old ones off as the nuts are all in good nick and the wheels were recently painted, don't particularly want to cause damage!
I have the serial number of the old key.
Cheers
Rich

ring the aa or rac. they have a kit which removes the locking nuts without damaging them. just ring up and say you have a puncture and need the spare wheel fitting. (thats if your a member)

I did think that but I still need a key to use. I need to change 2 tyres so all need to come off soon and I really don't want to drive too far without it as it's guranteed I will get a puncture lol.
the aa wont do that unless u get a nice bloke who isn't pissed of with his job lol. I had the same problem with my wheel nuts. Im the end i ended up going to machine mart and buying a reverse thread locking wheel nut remover. Only costs about a tenner and doesnt cause any damage to your wheels mate
p.s when my mc gaurd wheel nut key snapped the number on the key wasn't the correct number. I needed the number printed in the packet when i brought them so perhaps thats why u havent heard back yet
