Default need a small sized car battery, options? help please?

im now in need of a small car battery if poss as my roll cage runs through to the turrets limiting my space for a battery and not wanting to relocate battery if poss sizes im working with are roughly :LENGTH 185 X WIDTH 100X HEIGHT 185 or if i turn it arounD 185X120X185. Its powering a zetec turbo with no radio, just alarm digi dash and lights etc, need something with cranking power though, jap batteries have been suggested but i dont know thier sizes? cheers guys

do they have the cranking power? id looked up one on rally design but wernt sure if it had cranking power and not my area of knowledge lol, cheers

It'll be fine. Have a search on google - plenty of people are using them on high compression non-turbo engines that'll need more cranking amps than a low comp turbo engine

Just be aware that certain "racing" type batteries if left discharged for more than 5 minutes are knackered by it, with the batt situation you could always move it's location as well.
AGM batteries are so much more powerful, and can be mounted anywhere, even upside down without problem if needed.

As it's only got a low amp-hour rating, it will go flatter more quickly if the alarm is continually drawing current, unless you can keep it on a trickle charger. Shouldn't be a problem unless the car isn't used very regularly.

Might be worth you investing in a battery switch to disconnect the battery when you park the car up at night, unless you need to hear the alarm going off (ie you don't use the alarm simply as an immobiliser).

car isnt used very often sadly, off the road for about 18 months so far

My nissan skyline r33 gtr had a very small battery. alarm and tracker. Only use the car every other week and it allways started fine.

mite poss get away with it if i nip the back out of the batter tray lol, shall have another measure up when up there next lol.
need to meet up when at pf meet doug as spoke several times on here and been at meets but cant put a face to the name lol
