I have always had a soft spot for cars that are good all rounders, i do respect the top speed cars but prefer the cars that do everything well instead of being amazing at one thing.
I have never actually seen any figures for ELE from years ago, I know the engine spec was T4, 8 greens, long studded and spray jetted etc.

Andy Wornells was a quick one also but not sure if it ever did a top speed run?
Karls mega 3dr was never "Officially" timed but trust me......it was WELL up there

when bruce and mark sheed both had 3drs it was awesome seeing them on track at shows! they were proper fast! nothing sems to look or sound like them these days at the shows lol
