I have always had a soft spot for cars that are good all rounders, i do respect the top speed cars but prefer the cars that do everything well instead of being amazing at one thing.
I have never actually seen any figures for ELE from years ago, I know the engine spec was T4, 8 greens, long studded and spray jetted etc.
