Anyone got access to BMW or VAG wiring diagrams?
Trying to piece together the ingredients for my Drive By Wire conversion...
Looking at using a BMW E46 330i throttle body as it's the right size butterfly and mounting it looks very easily adapted.
Could really do with a pinout to the connector (plus information on whether the mating connector can be bought seperately?) just to double check things.
I'm also looking at using a VAG pedal of some description, I need to either modify my pedal box to keep the pedal but use the donor sensors or remove the pedal and fit an entire assembly in place. If anyone has got any info on which pedals run hall effect (no good to me) and which run the wiper sweep resistance based setup.
Any info on sensor feed voltages, 5v or 12v etc. would also be appreciated.
Thankyouplease

The throttle body i'm looking at is from a 2002 E46 330ci Auto Sport. If you can get me a pin out for it and if there is any info on whether the throttle position sensors are on a +5V or +12v feed.
I'm also looking at a 2000 E320 Mercedes Pedal/Throttle Position Sensor - if you could get me the pin out on that too please?
VAG stuff i've got a contact for now
Many thanks for your help

it shows the sensor but nothing like the bmw or mercedes thats all there is to the audi 1
used as an alternative to a throttle switch assembly, the throttle position sensor is a variable resistance (potentiometer) connected to the throttle valve shaft. in cae of a single point injection systems, load sensing may be by eans of this sensor, avoding the need for a map sensor
1. throttle butterfly shaft
2. wiper arm
3. resistance tracks
operation:
it is supplied with a reference voltage and the output signal voltage is used by the ecm to interpret the exact throttle position

Cheers guys.
I'm happy with the BMW throttle body. Just need to try and find a pair of pedal position sensors that can be used on the throttle pedal.
The Merc one looks perfect but the pinout is proving tricky to find - the photo of the multiplug on it is for 6 pins... so I suspect its different to the one above!
