think the only downside to a classic policy you don't earn any no claims Bonus.

So if you change to something different and newer you will have 0 yrs NCB and start from the beginning again.

My cossie insurance has gone up by 3quid a month. I think i can live with that. If i didnt have my 26 year old wife on the policy it would only cost me 300 quid fully comp.

thanks very much for everyones input, spent ages on the phone speaking to some nice people and also clueless dicks!

adrian flux 0800 369 8590 - hic's sister company so same old skada

Need to insure - 01623 720081 - good service and cover nos full comp £500 however no agreed value

peter james - 01215066040 - they dont cover nos, would have been £250 full comp if car was std!

chris @ A plan - 01635 874646, called up and asked for chris, aparently theres a few chris's in their quotes dept! really helpfull and clued up.
they stopped covering nos recently which he is trying to solve.

so in the end called up HIC again after being on hold for about 20 mins and explained how pissed off i was so they put it down to £690 with agreed value 250 excess and limited to 2k

i will definetly be taking off the nitrous in april next year if its going to carry on like this
every insurerer explained that it was my N postcode that was the biggest problem. find that pathetic as car is always garaged and limited millage policy

My renewal is £230 cheaper this year as ive just turned 27 3 years no claims and thats fully comp with a load of other benefits where as i had no benefits before and TPFT..

Did an insurance quote on a focus Rs MK2 was only £1100, 7 years driving, 3 years no claims, at 27, didnt think that was too bad either !
