Anyone got one of those magnetic catflaps ??
Having spent all day fitting one of those magnetic catflaps i finds it doesnt really work. It seems to me any cat could get in, magnet or not. wqithout the magnet thing that dangles from the collar there is a tiny bit of resistance but not enough to stop a fly let alone another cat.
It is a Staywell unit and I fitted it in a brick wall so had to dismantle it to attatch the outer bit to the wall and i wonder if i have somehow not put it back together properly but like i say the magnet does do something , just not very much??

Yeah we have one of them cat flaps did work ok to start with, only prob was the cats kept loosing there collars so couldn't get in or it didn't shut properly and any cat could get in, In the end if they lost there collar they would give it a wack and get in that way they can even pull it towards them to get in and get past the other lock you turn round yourself the little f**kers.
