-6 is 9/16 x 18 unf
-8 is 3/4 x 16 unf
-10 is 7/8 x 14 unf
-12 is 1.1/16 x 12 unf
-14 is not a typically used size
-16 is 1.5/16 x 12 unf

Surely this would depend on the fittings used, I know on all the hydraulic stuff at work that uses jic fittings its normaly either npt-jic or bsp-jic fittings when going from a block to a hose.
It would also depend if you are using stepped fittings eg 3/8npt to jic12 or a straight size fitting would be a 3/4npt to jic12.

Try www.bgcmotorsport.co.uk
The owner Brian knows his stuff, it's all he does, a little goldmine he is on fittings, ace prices and no pressure sell, he actually talked me out of spending another Ł20 odd with him, suggesting a different way of doing my latest bit.
