Providing your block and head are flat, its the best I know of for a YB without getting really exotic and going to julian for something very customised machining wise.

Well proven by lots of people in the 500-600 sort of ballpark and there are a few engines out there on the WRC gaskets at 800+ (Rod tarry being the most obvious one and IIRC AG was too)

I dont think you can go far wrong with one (unless your block is warped or head not freshly skimmed!)

That's a bit annoying tbh! You take quite a lot of my time up on the phone getting loads of free advice with me making sure you do the job right this time and then you start hunting around for a cheaper gasket than mine to save yourself what? £20?? Perrrrrlease!!

The PF police will require evidence of phone records as well as witness statements confirming it was you making said phone call at the time. Otherwise they have you bang to rights!

I checked the clock and it's right!

Tbh I'm not that bothered whether I sold you a gasket (that I'd probably be making a tenner on!) or not, it's the fact that some people would rather take all your advice on the phone (you did call 3 or 4 times) and then go off and hunt down the cheapest part possible! Anyhow at least I gave you enough info so you'd do the job properly this time!

My gasket isn't the same as the WRC one btw.

Courtney (vauxhall tuners) have a premium rate number for technical advice, its a good idea I reckon, that way if people just want advice they can pay you for that on a per minute basis and its fair on all parties

That on ebay looks like a victor reinz gasket re badged as mountune ones.

can buy the same thing for half that amount. Any decent trader will be able to get better prices, unless they want to make big profits.
