Escort cosworth cylinder head bolt torques and order?
can anyone please list the torques and the order in tightening please
i want to check them, is this advisable? i mean should i go around and check them, tighten them if needed?

Lubricate head bolts at threads and under bolt head and install bolts together with washers.
Tighten cylinder head bolts as follows:
Stage 1 requires to tighten all bolts 30-35 Nm.
Stage 2 requires to tighten all bolts to 67 -70 Nm following the sequence.
Stage 3 requires the bolts to be tighten in degrees of rotating using a special gauge tool.
Following the sequence, each bolt is turned 80° - 90° of rotation

Dave, when I did my RST, Karl also said if you're putting a head back on, then leave it 20mins between stages.
I didn't use a special angle wrench, just a blob of tipex on the top of the bolt so I could see 90degrees..

techy stuff there , but thats how mine where done after i got it back from paul hills , as he dont the standard ford settings, so i have 3 days between the first stage
