Nope..... wanted something non turbo'd for track....... but throttle bodies, a tubular manifold and head work maybe a possibility for the future..... if it lasts that long...lol

My thoughts exactly......

The criteria was......

1. No turbo
2. Small
3. Cheap
4. Ford RS (being Chairman of Bedfordshire RSOC has to be an RS)
5. Budget of £4000

Spent so far.... £3850 (taking off parts that have been sold already)

It was a choice of Escort RS2000 mk5 or Fiesta RS1800 and i've always had a soft spot for the Fiesta...

Be sure to look out for the red-faces of high spec. Cosworth owners in your rear view mirror as you go by them!!!

and the bonnet aint to vent put the hot ait but to increase air flow under the bonnet as the air can flow in throught the grill and up and out thebonnet vents aswell as the back of the engine bay, otherwise it would flow less air flow there ( not sure if it makes a difference as my old cabrio had a standard bonnet and tubo engine and made no diference to mine

no point starting with a crappy car, instead of welding one up, straight into modding and get out quicker.

End of the day Steve it's your car and you can do with it what you wish.

However I do think the pink colour scheme your were discusing yesterday may be taking it a bit far
