Default anyone bought either of these RS500 spec intercoolers of eBay?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Sierra-RS...item588cdfd164

I'm after one to fit to my Uno turbo which is running a 2.0 turbo lancia engine and therefore i know i shall have to cut and reweld the inlet and out let so it doesnt matter if the fitment on the cossies isnt that good etc.

im just wanting to know if they are any good for the money? will they be ok up to about 400bhp? they say 650bhp on the ads, but im not convinced!

Id say ud be best off getting a good s/h rs500 style intercooler of a known make(airtec, pro alloy, radtec ect)

-then chop it up to suit.
Id rather put my money on good second hand parts -than cheap new ones.

I have one similar on my race car, it needed extensive welding mods to get it to fit the brackets were too high so needed lowering about 5 cm and the outlets are not 70mm but about 68 and a 70mm hose (which you have to buy specials off roose for) are a slack fit so I chopped the outlets off and welded on propper 70mm sized ones the inlet also needed turning through 45 degrees as it points straight at the alternator!!
don't touch with a barge pole if you ask me, far too much hassle!
