Very true Chip! I've had a bit of a clear out. I stowed loads at my brother's a few weeks back, but the garage still looked like this:

So moved all the remaining above out of my own garage, and into my brother's garage which already looked like this from my last visit:

So now his garage is full to brim, and his car lives at mine with his RST and my Evo. Think he got the crap end of the deal

Cheers Paul, Chop mentioned you found the car and were on standby Very kind of yourself and him to offer to help me out.

Chop did most of the work in sorting from my end, I was too lazy to do anything about it, where as he kept badgering me to get off my butt and sort it all out.

Turned out well in the end, the owner of my old car was ok to deal with in the end

Mainly tyres, 7 sets of wheels I think, plus the ones on the car.

Nah Dan, just lost touch with the gent who bought my old Evo, and didn't get the plate off the car before he took it on - we had an arrangement to get it off once it was as his end, but for various reasons that didn't happen.

RSToughy above found the car, Chop and he then offered to "collect" the plate if needed. I got in touch with the new owner again, and thankfully sorted it quite easily.

Good lads on here, RSMat, RSToughy and Lambchop are all owed beers or 10. Perhaps at Croft this year lads?

just wondering,,,, if anyone owned that car/garage would you wake up in the morning and just to cheer your self up for the drive to work just open the garage door and stand back and admire for a few moments to just remind you " yes that is the reason why i do this fucking job"

im thinking of printing off the picture and sticking it on my fridge for inspration a bit like fat people do when dieting,,,,,

i would put it on the garage door but some fucker would break in and be disapointed with what they found in there at my garage pmsl

Arse, credited Paul when it was you I should have said extra thanks to! Seems I have had the support of most of Scotland, so despite wearing skirts as a traditional outfit, you're not all that bad

Thank you for doing that, very good of you. Deffo a few beers for you too if you can make it down to Croft for the RS day? I think things may get messy

That's funny Ginge. I do sometimes do a version of that, but it goes like this - Open garage door, see car up on axle stands, think "arse" and bugger off to work to earn more money to fix it

What's that for? Inspiration to tidy your kitchen to the same level of tidyness as this garage? .

No worries at all - it doesn't really matter who spotted it, the main thing is that you've got the plate back now. It was a HUGE co-incidence that:

a) I spotted it (was being nosey and looking at property when I passed it parked on the street)
b) I then mentioned it to Chop.
c) and that Chop knew you well enough to know the ins & outs of the matter.

I should be down at Croft with Chop in July, so will look forward to meeting you then.

Shame, I'm still working on the funds for the weekend, got plenty of time to save, but with the track at Ł300 for 2 ace days, and the travel up there, fuel on track etc. I'd be looking at Ł600 for a weekend Not sure if I can afford it on top of everything else at the same time!

But loved the craic the last couple of times I've been up there, so fancy more of the same.

Yeah it'll be good to put a few faces to names at Croft and good to see some of the well known cars getting some stick on track as well... hopefully see you there Si, even if you're not tracking the Evo.

Hahaha, you're blatantly not talking about taking the Chop G6 so it's got to be an idea of buying something toss like a G-reg Renault Espace from auction specially for the trip aye?? Come on mate, share the good news.

Erm well the one on ebay sold so it's a no go for now

M3 it is at the moment for the 3 of us. What else would you want to turn up to a ford show in rather than a nice BMW?

Haha, jesus I was joking... I didn't really expect it to be something as crazy as buying a mouldy old Espace?!

You're right though, if we want to fit in and people to talk to us, there's no other option but to turn up in a BMW.
