Default Glow plug removal

Are glow plugs in a 2005 TDCI Mondeo easy to change ? I’ve had a look in a Haynes manual which admittedly shows them being done with no manifold on the engine so looks relatively simple, but are they easily changed with everything in situ ?

Any help appreciated !

From memory they are behind the manifold, but the inlet is a piece of piss to get off not normally any need for new seals either 2 8mm's on the inlet pipe then the ring of 10mm's round the manifold.
Just make sure the seals are clean before refitting and you'll be away!

9 times out of 10 they will come out easy enough! They can stick though which is when you will need a puller to get them out. Bloke at work snapped one trying to get them out, so be careful.

No idea though about taking the manifold off, not heard this before so you should be ok.
