webuyanycar???
Anyone used we buy any car? How did you get on? do they try and knock you from the online quote or do they pay up?
I have my st170 forsale at 2K but on the wbac website they offer £1749 so very tempted to drive 15miles to northampton and get the bus back! haha
Would rather it sold to someone that would use it though, not sure where it would go once wbac got hold of it?

When you get there they will knock money off it and give a shit explanation as to why. There has been masses of complaints about them and they even appeared on Watchdog as they received so many.
If there is an underlying problem like the engine is about to go pop but you can hide the fact then I would use them.

A mate of mine sold a car with them, basically got trade in price. He drove it to the shop, they spent about 2 mins looking over it and it was sorted!

A few of my customers have sold their Porsches to them, for more money than what we have offered them as a trade in!
From what i can gather all the transactions have gone through smoothly

we took out fiesta st there. it had done 15k on a 57 with a few factory extras. quoted us a fair price got there and he said the wheels were damaged. i had gone out my way to make sure all 4 wheels were spot on as i knew they would chip us on them. i said theres nothing wrong with them and he didnt reply he then leant in the car and ripped the drivers mat out breaking the clips that held it down. went inside to do the deal and tried chipping us £950 so we got up and left. in my eyes there a waste of time

£6985 for my mk1 focus rs, 45k lol......i can see why they offer shit prices but bloody hell you'd have to be pretty desperate or a bit daft to actually let them have your car for the money they offer!!
Plenty of people must do though

Not quite !
they go through BCA as UK Car Group too,i know because i asked the 1st time i saw the sale section called UK Car Group @BCA. If you google it you will see i'm correct.
Also lets say you sell your shite to UK Car Group aka We Buy Any Crap aaka Car Craft where do you think they make there money ?? they either sell it via there own trade sales at Car Craft trade disposal sales or Auction it where theres charges like delivery, wages, auction fees and you wonder why you get less most of the time than trade price hahaha.
They do and will sell certain stuff off Car Crafts forecourts or move it onto Dealers that will underwrite stuff thats specialist but anyone that uses them and thinks they got stiffed well tuff shite imo as if you swim with sharks expect to get bitten .
Oh and for what its worth some of the biggest shite i have ever heard comes out of the mouths of Car Craft sales persons cake holes hahaha

I think they're ridiculous. But not as ridiculous as people that let themselves get fleeced.
They offered me £50 for my 850 T-5 when I did a quote for a laugh. I sold the car for £1200
I just can't really see any need to use them in most cases. If you have a car worth £3k; stick it up for £2500 and you'll get your quick sale. Can't see any reason to take the pittance they'd give you for it.
The fact a company like this can be profitable says a lot about the general level of common sense amongst citizens of this country...

its worth about 4k aswell, best of luck, but id recommend going elsewhere.

i dont think they are for the normal punter, bit like a modern day Arthur daly but online, loads of flannel, i guess they are a finance house like "yes car credit" who went tits up, they want to maximize the amount of credit for your next car through them
you'd probably get a better price on ebay, with a sensible reserve

i would think though its a bit like shuffling companys around, can you confirm yes or no if Noel and Darren McKee are the owners of the company still, straight forward question so a straight forward answer would be nice. Regards Marv
