V6 XR4 or 4 pot ?

2 litre DOHC box does not have a long enough input shaft for the V6 and the bolt patern on the bellhousing is different.

If it's a V6 you will need to find a rare manual 2.9 granny box or get a hybrid made out of the front half of a V6 and the back of a DOHC.

Anything more than 300 ft/lbs of torque through a 4x4 gearbox and lots of hard driving will see it go bang sooner rather than later
