Default Fitting AP calipers under 15" wheels

I'm happy to spend some cash and need to upgrade my front calipers. AP is the obvious choice but can I get anyone to sell me calipers and discs to go under 15" wheels?

Called Reyland today. No.

Called Burton today, confusion.

Has anybody fitted AP Calipers to a 2WD Cossie under standard wheels? I need calipers, brackets, bells and discs, or maybe just calipers and brackets for now.

Anybody? A photo? Caliper model numbers?

Thanks,

Charlie

Not for sale but might be of help. I have a kit to fit under Cossie 3dr wheels. 295mm discs with CP5100 calipers and mounting brackets. Don't know where it originally was bought from.

Good info all, thanks. I'll do more research tomorrow. Anybody know if anybody sells a 295mm CP5100 kit available as above?

I'll call round tomorrow.

Cheers,

Charlie

Trouble with AP is that their smaller discs are sometimes dearer than the larger ones so you dont get such good value for money on a small kit.

I called yesterday. Whoever answered the call told me that nothing was available.

I've sent you a PM. Are you in? Should I call again?

I'm interested as I really like my STD Cossie rims and only selling them as they won't fit over bigger brakes

I don't think there is much chance of a 295mm 5100 kit fitting 4x4 models due to bell offset.

Would be worth speaking to Compbrake as they do all sorts of kits with 4pot calipers.

I managed to find an AP Racing kit for sale. Thanks Kev.

In the kit is a pair of CP5100 calipers, 2 X 295mm discs, bells, brackets, pads and braided lines. It fits inside the 15" sharktooth alloys that I use, with about 1mm to spare. Very tight.

Got a quote for new AP kit of a lot more!

So I was pleased to find a sensibly priced used (but never fitted) kit.
