my escort van gets stuck everywhere on slightest bit of snow, suppose having half a ton in the back dont help either... but ive also got a jacked up suzuki sj offroader with big tyres to use in winter so dont risk someone smashing into my escorts

My car is shocking. It's an E36 M3, the rear tyres are 265's and quite low on tread. It's pretty low so the front bumper catches on the snow in the middle of the road and i've pretty sure the diff is catching too. I've been getting stuck all over the place. The LSD helps tho

The girl friends MGF was surprisingly good, ignoring the fact she spanked it on ice the other night
As above, we have been using the xr4x4 and its been fecking brilliant, standard 195's and 4x4 are fantastic in the snow.
Thinking about getting a cheap scooby if it snows like this next year....

cougar v6 just fine TC works and you can turn it off if you need spin up to get up some hills however the old mg v8 i had was a slut she would shake her ass a lot when wet ,and in the snow could be like driving a fish had to be careful with the throttle.

It was snowing last night on my way home and i was in my dads focus.I was coming down this small hill to a roundabout.I was wanting to go left so i put a bit of left hand lock on and i went straight on so i had to go round the roundabout to go onto the road i was wanting in the first place.

It depends on the car, my tdi bora is ok, but wheels spins so easily and traction control is pretty good though. ABS is far too keen really, all in all it's ok.
the zvh xr2 was pretty good with a viscous lsd-did spin wheels easy, but just pulled all the same. However with the zetec turbo and an ATB diff i'm yet to discover, but i doubt it will be that good, even the brakes lock up too easy and that's before i fit the Focus RS setup that's arriving this week.
best car i had was a 1.1 106, handled brilliantly, had no power to wheel spin anyways.
