What do you mean by delocked? If the handle is still there then at the end of it should be a cover which you can pull off with a flat blade, the lock should be behind that.

Good Plan, but the boot catch operates by a push button (obviously electronic). Still, if you could push that you'd at least know everything else was working ok and it is just the remote or the locking system.

If you have the car open and the central locking doesnt work still even from the handles and the boot won't release from the dash button then it's worth checking fuse 63 it's a known failing. The bad news is that Fuse 63 is a complete twat to get to, it's on the back of the fusebox that is behind the glovebox. There are 2 or 3 8mm (IIRC) bolts to undo and then you have to twist the fuse panel round, a complete PITA of a job due to all the looms and a metal bracket that holds it in, plus if your doors were deadlocked then you will be lying upside down on the passenger seat head in the footwell. Best advice is to take the gloveboxx off for a bit more access and have plenty of patience.
When mine went the gf was driving the car and was parked up at a supermarket in the middle of summer, upside down in the footwell on a baking hot day with nosey fecker peering in and asking gf if I was OK, why didnt I 'just open the door'... I was sweating like a mofo by the time I got it fixed and was not seeing the funny side of it

Only if it's deadlocked too, if the lock button has just been pressed once the boot release works, if you press it twice and the lights flash it's deadlcoked and the boot release doesnt work. I know this from a very similar experience
