Default 3.0d x5 remap

has anyone remapped or had remapped a 3.0d x5, playing with the idea but not sure how it will affect the car ie. performance, economy, issues etc.

same as the 530d......it will be much better with a remap......

better on fuel, nicer drive..........what more do you want

was more concerned with the extra stresses put on the drivetrain, especially the 4wd side of things.

i got andrew gallacher to do my x5 3.0d sport a couple weeks ago goes much better now & better on fuel perfect

in what way does it improve them pal, had mine a couple of years and thought the extra shove would be a good move, how different is it?

just drives better mate getting 30 mpg now was only getting about 26-27 now not a great deal but is faster you get to 70-80 alot easier ! drives much better low down. i would get the gear oil changed in it tho its a must with them after 60k they start banging down the gears when you come to a stop if you dont catch them in time it will need a box they are bad for boxes

had the gearbox oil changed at last service so no worries there.
