3.0d x5 remap

has anyone remapped or had remapped a 3.0d x5, playing with the idea but not sure how it will affect the car ie. performance, economy, issues etc.

just drives better mate getting 30 mpg now was only getting about 26-27 now not a great deal but is faster you get to 70-80 alot easier ! drives much better low down. i would get the gear oil changed in it tho its a must with them after 60k they start banging down the gears when you come to a stop if you dont catch them in time it will need a box they are bad for boxes
